The problem I have now is I need to take another trip to Budapest, so I am planning to buy a separate WRO-AMS-BUD rt ticket (choosing , making my actual travel path look like:

BUD-> AMS (overnight) -> KL1721 11/26 13:40 WRO KL 1272 11/26 14:10 -> AMS (overnight stay) -> LAX (two colors mean two tickets)

AFAIK, KL only flies one rt AMS-WRO so it should be a turnaround on the same aircraft.
I wonder if technically I can do that? That I flying in 11/26 13:40 to WRO and take the return flight on 14:10?

I called KL call center but the agent kept citing 30min connection is too tight and I am not sure if he understands my question. I wonder if I can get both boarding passes at AMS? (I am just assuming intra-Schegen would be similar to US domestic where you can stay in the control area, not to mention if you are just waiting for the same aircraft to bring you back, but I am wrong?)

Also even if I am allow to do it, what is the implication for my checked bag? Do I have to check my bags for all sectors? I only want to check my bags on the BUD->AMS and AMS->LAX segments.
I don't know the situation in WRO as to transfers - some airports you exit where people wait to board, some others you're separated from departing pax when exiting.

however, I can comment on your luggage situation. Since your ticket is to WRO, your bags will be checked to WRO. However you have an overnight layover; so you most likely can check the bags in BUD to go to AMS, not WRO, instead.

then collect them in AMS and check them in to LAX. However you probably wont be able to do this on the 26th ("the day before") so you might need to put your bag in a locker while you're flying AMS->WRO->AMS.

Maybe someone else can comment on if WRO is a split or shared airside for departing and arriving pax?
