Had some time at a resort earlier in August with a couple, both of whom were AC crew. One, who was Japanese-language qualified, strongly preferred (and could hold) YYZ-Japan; except during COVID demand evaporated (and now the lockdown at Tokyo is so unpleasant) so now he does LHR. His husband, with not quite so much seniority, preferred general Europe. LIM as stated above--lots of hours and minimized time changes/jet lag. The career has much flexibility...it's one saving grace.
