Pre-Covid we had a trip with a similar PS issue. We finally got downgrade compensation and fare difference for C+. It was a hassle. After that experience I decided I will not book PS again until all fleet types have it and the issue is somewhat minimized.
so, they claim it WAS reissued since it shows I’m in W class (not SU as I would expect as a Platinum getting the auto upgrade to C+). However I can’t prove that I never got a receipt (which I’m assuming they would need to show the refund in fare as well)?

I will definitely HUCA, perhaps it’s because it’s still the weekend. But definitely fishy.
