I've been in the DXB lounge numerous times, so would not upgrade for that reason. (In my opinion there's no lounge worth an upgrade; it's all about the seat for me.) And this is the overnight flight; for me, upgrading on the overnight flight is more important than on the daytime flights. If I'm going to stay awake, the old J seats are comfortable enough for me, but if I'm going to sleep, I'd prefer to be in F.

I did the A380 back from Dubai in November ( delayed 90mins so did not get airborne till just before 0400) . I was in 51 A on the upper deck and got a good nights rest ( skipped the light meal after take off) but F was slightly better sleep on the overnight outbound. to DXB I would like wise upgrade if the price differential was not too great ( about £500 for DXB-LHR) I personally do not mind the A380 CW seats but prefer the Club suites ( just had 1 CS experience- the A350 daytime flight to DXB )
