Someone who has stayed more recently can confirm, but IIRC there is very little "indoors" at this hotel. The lobby is open air (with a roof) as are the routes to the rooms. Most, if not all, of the rooms are facing towards the beach/ocean - therefore there is not reason to have an enclosed hallway.
