Because it is not included on the day of arrival, we arrived from a 6 am flight and therefore at the hotel around 8am. We could choose 1k points, dates, or breakfast for that single day (as the rest of the days are included). Each night of your stay gives you lunch, dinner, breakfast. In this case, we would have not been entitled to breakfast on the day of arrival.
