Is this normal/expected? It's my first time connecting (vs. departing/arriving) in CDG, but based on my reading here I had thought all non-Schengen arrivals were funneled through security before being allowed access to departure gates for connecting flights.
we had some other recent reports like this. It seems that ADP has finally found a way to introduce the concept of "safe countries" for non-schengen connections in 2E. But, as the terminal has not been designed like this, I am not sure we can draw a definitive conclusion or even having a list of "safe countries". We need more reports and data point. But that's certainly a good news.
