Interested by the more negative reviews coming in lately. I wonder if this is because of quite how high the prices have gone in the last month or two. A lot of the stuff that I really don't mind when the place is £75 a night really starts to grate at £150 a night (even if I'm not paying). I do hope a refurb is on the cards soon, but wonder if whatever operation is going on externally (removing/replacing Grenfell type cladding would be my guess but I don't know this) is currently taking priority. Honestly can't fault the breakfast though, ordering from the menu is permitted even on a Gold/Diamond free breakfast rate and the staff are lovely. Restaurant is really good too and room service is always quick and friendly.

TL;DR Never had any service complaints but the general rise in rates is making the fairly tired rooms harder to forgive.
