The substantial increase in demand you speak of is now a few weeks away, likely October timeframe - so unless United plans on dramatically increasing airfares on current capacity to screw with everyone and milk the golden cow, then now would be a good time to start preparations to return a normal schedule and proper capacity from all hubs prior to the holiday season.
