While my passport has scanned successfully in the past, numerous tries (Android phone) failed.
Took a picture, same camera and submitted the photo, worked first try
Good to know. Traveling for the first time overseas since late 2019 and I tried to take my photo in the app and it wouldn't work (although I am a few weeks early). Guess my passport data was deleted too because it hasn't changed since 2019.
