I could understand it being G if it is delta marketed, but then you should earn per DL which you get credit for G. May be a mistake in DL's system and you just have to call and ask them to fix it.

DL uses P/A/G classes for PE, so if you originally booked the flights as DL coded flights on DL website, G would have been correct for PE. It sounds like some change was made after booking and the flights ended up being coded and credited with VS flight numbers when you actually flew them (instead of DL flight numbers), but retaining the DL G booking class on them. This would confuse system since G booking class on VS coded flights is a business class award class and not a revenue PE fare class.
