There's an actual real cost to doing something like an in-service distribution or selling restricted stock just so I can get extra cashback on my credit card.

I'm also not a fan of a brokerage (ML) that doesn't allow fractional share purchase. Why are you stuck in 1999? $50 every other week on VOO when you get paid doesn't sound like much until 20 years later... too many brokerages that are better on being able to buy fractional. I also am not terribly impressed by their roboadvisor, the fees are higher than what I would get with SoFi, Betterment or Wealthfront, even as a Platinum Preferred Rewards client.

Oh, that and I handed BofA house keys and an unpaid mortgage bill in a Chapter 13 (and they ate it to the tune of 50 cents on the dollar) over a decade ago during the Great Recession so I suspect they don't like me too much. Routinely denied on apps. So at this point I don't bother.
How you looked at Fidelity?
