I wouldn't do anything until you get a snapshot of what TIMATIC said on the day of travel. Then, assess whether AA followed that or not. Airline employees, on any carrier, will not look at web sites and other sources of information. Doing so would make validating travel docs for international travel nearly impossible, so TIMATIC exists to avoid all of that.
