Does anyone have experience with downgrading the card and how long it took. The official note said after next statement date, but in practice have people got cards sooner/later - eps if you are quite a way off the next statement? Thanks.
I downgraded in the app a few days before my statement date. Said something like it will take effect from statement date. Got a text a day or two later saying in progress, then one the following day saying it was done. New card arrived a few days later. Fee automatically refunded a few days after the statement (which had the £20 charge on it). It was entirely smooth for me.
