Hotels next week (9/19/22) are ridiculously expensive in NYC. If this the new normal? Or is there some event that is constraining supply?
Possibly due to the UN General Assembly being in session. Also Climate Week, with international attendees, which always happens at the same time.
Plus, the prices are generally high this year, and you're looking at pretty much the last minute.
