JAL has finished “adjusting” my flight, and sadly the answer is steerage not PE, at least unless I pay more. Really frustrating considering there were other flight options at the same price (with significantly longer layovers in TYO) that offered PE on this segment.
In 2022, I’ve booked long haul flights on QR, ET, and AA (for the above flight in question) and on each flight I’ve had a very significant change in departure and/or arrival times, and nothing in the way of compensation.
