If my CDG yesterday was anything to go by as I seldom fly Band One - the Club Crew had to go like the clappers to get the service done and dusted. Personally I think that BOB is far too ambitious for flights of under 75 minutes by this I mean flying time not ground taxi time as is included in the timetabling. BOB is badly thought out. They should offer soft drinks to all passengers.Paying by card is time consuming but there are good reasons for not taking cash,
Well it is still "False Advertising" and very poor customer experience. If BA can't deliver a good BoB service under 75 minutes, why bother. It creates more frustration than anything else. At the end of the day it is BA's problem is they have a Business Class or not. What they should do is deliver on their much hyped BoB promise. And I see also problems for those longer flights such as ATH, LCA, AMM, CAI, etc. Not only, the delivery of the service is hit and (more) miss but the offering is just not adequate for these long distances. There isn't really anything substantial for such routes. A small sandwich or a mini pie is not something that can satisfy a plane full of hungry passengers. So from that aspect and for those customers that have no status, flying LCC is more pleasant.
