We are about to go on a family vacation. Cost is roughly €5,000 for 3 rooms. I have silver status with Hilton and hold a Hilton-branded credit card. I am wondering if it makes more sense to get credit for all rooms, or to open up individual accounts for other family members and pool the points later. Specifically, I am trying to understand if I the "Earn 2X Points on Every Stay" promotion apply to all three rooms if I get credit for all rooms into one account, or if I won't get the bonus points for the other 2 rooms, in which case I will choose to accrue points in 3 different accounts and pool them later. Any other considerations other than points, e.g. elite status, I should consider? thanks!
