Able to refine my Google search and now see The Points Guy has a blog post about this, suggesting it may not be wise to use a virtual credit card to pay for tickets on-line relative to my concern about how the airport check-in process would play out.
At any rate, if anyone has any experience trying this (with EVA specifically), be great to hear your input. I'll be BKK - LAX and back, but any input about EVA would be useful.
