This issue isn’t going away until there is an incident and people can’t get off or are injured due to oversized heavy bags in the cabin

The ground staff just don’t care especially the contractors, my flight back from Milan was a farce. The flight out simply comedy gold.

Hand bag checks at Heathrow need to be done at conformance for direct passengers. It could also be done at transfer conformance but BA won’t resource.

incentivise the staff to control bags with s %of the bag fees going to a pot and paid to uniformed checkin staff once a year

Cabin crew in the current environment shouldn’t have to deal with this. It needs to be managed up stream of departure. That was how T5 was designed before being turned into barrier city.

Crew should be proactively assisting passengers to store bags coats etc and sit down. If the baggage situation was better they wouldn’t have conflict and be seen as helpfu

Sort baggage delivery. If bags are not delivered with 20 minutes of a ShortHaul flight landing, compensate passengers
