If you ever want to see something terrifying, sit at the front of the ET cabin and look backwards just after the CC have handed out the crisps and water.
As much as I'm partial to a thinly sliced deep fried potato, the sight of 180 people shovelling crisps into their faces is slightly revolting.
On a recent short hop LGW-AMS weekend Avios booking - sat in the first row of ET (think row 7). Funniest sight was row 6 getting served their food and drinks just as the captain was announcing to get ready for landing. Cue very fast eating and even faster drinking. The CC let them keep the drinks from what I could see. We'd long finished our bread, water and our lounge-liberated JetStream beers.
