Have just been on the phone to BA trying to move my LHR-GVA flight on 20 Sept to a later one, and suddenly (virtually before my eyes) the price of the flight on the website jumped from £175 to more than £600. A quick look at EF and some other European destinations shows only full Y fares available from LHR for those two days. It can’t be demand as the LX flights are wide open. Anyone know what’s going on? Is this a BA IT classic? Surely BA aren’t trying to profiteer off Monday’s events??
