I some how qualified again this year but barely. Going to maybe hit 115ish days as spend is never my issue but without that double night I'd maybe be at 75ish. I won't bother going out of my way anymore and even some of my hotel stays in europe up-coming are non-branded hotels because what's the point of the ambassador line as all they really do is comp you points themselves if a hotel fails to deliver benefits or basic services and it gets me a little note and a coupon for coffee rarely in my rooms. Have I gotten some sweet upgrades before? Yeah? But doing the numbers these upgrades are just for coming back to the same properties rather then ambassador status itself.

I do have a couple of nights planned in Europe where apparently Ambassador status really should count, but we'll see and ironically have two Ambassadors staying in the same hotel upcoming so it'd be interesting to see if there's any difference in treatment between our booking.
