The energy situation won't be an issue for individuals/tourists. So that's not a concern.

Stuff tends to be closed between Christmas and New Years, and it's not a particularly pleasant time of year to be outdoors (it gets dark around 16h00, it's cold and wet/not snowy). Christmas markets close after Christmas, a lot of the Germans head off to brighter/sunnier destinations......not a ton of stuff to do.
