Renting a car at AUH to see DXB
I have a 3-day (EY free stopover) coming up in AUH. I've never been to UAE, so plan to spend one day in AUH, but I do want to take a spin to DXB to grab lunch with some friends there.

Car rental appears to be very cheap... is it just easy to rent there vs relying on cabs etc. Driving easy? IDP needed? Personal experiences appreciated.
