Another vote for Taichi here. As a matter of fact, Taichi is my favorite sushi-ya in Tokyo, and I'm a proud regular (just made a reservation with him today!). If you consider price, skill of the chef, ambiance, etc. it is bar none my favorite.

My top 5 in Tokyo:
1. Taichi
2. Keita
3. Shimizu
4. Imamura
5. Sugita

People think I'm crazy when I tell them I rate Taichi higher than Sugita, but being a regular and being able to book a seat whenever I want to visit is a big part of that. Also, a chef like Taichi san can order cheaper neta than the top places but still make absolutely delicious sushi, out of pure preparation skills.
