And then I realised I could just book routes I actually want to fly, and wouldn’t feel obligated to fly oneworld. So maybe not so bad after all.

When BA delayed upgrading me to Gold I took an Oman J booking to Asia instead, and I know the product/experience is going to be far superior. Without the current BAEC I wouldn’t of even considered oneworld.
