Right but the exact fare amount purchased through AA will determine how many miles and LPs you will earn.
DEL-HND-DFW-IAH is 10,334 miles, so if purchased as JL flight numbers you'd earn 10,334 base miles + 2,584 (25% cabin bonus) for a total of 12,918 miles/LPs.
But if booked as AA flights with no status, you would earn 2,500 miles/LPs if the fare is $500 or 25,000 miles/LPs if the fare is $5,000. So the exact fare matters in these calculations.
