Thank you both. Yes, my first trip to either RC KB and MR HB. In fact, haven't spent time outside of South Beach every so first time to both areas too. We will have a car, so could drive to get dinner...I suspect we will do breakfast and lunch on property. But even still, I think the Marriott may be the better choice. The family party zone has me slightly intrigued...yes I have a toddler, but he is pretty chill, keeps to himself. The idea of peaceful is appealing.
The Marriott is much more family oriented with a large pool and tons of lounge chairs around it -- and also has a large beach area and restaurants -- here's a view from our room looking towards the main part of the property...
And here is a shot from our room at the RC -- more refined and much quieter... IIRC they also have an adults only pool. In general, the RC is much quieter, while at the Marriott the pool area is bustling from morning to sundown...
