Passport contrôle won't be too bad. Your results might vary, but might even be able to use the automated passport gates (PARAFE) given a US passport.

The bus is annoying but I don't think they'll let you into a different hall from the one which your flight departs from. Honestly, not so bad, just follow the signs.
