Surprised that nobody has mentioned phone support in the case of a problem, which happens quite often now with cancellations, delays, airport luggage chaos, etc. BA for all intents and purposes has none if you don't have status; hours long waits with no callback option and no estimate of wait times. If your call gets disconnected (happens regularly) you have to start all over again. AA is comparatively easy; much shorter hold times and a callback option with an estimate of wait time so you can do other things while waiting. This for me trumps the minor differences in the new BA seats vs. older AA seats, and the onboard service differences.
