GC has actually just removed all Covid-related travel restrictions. Availability at the Kimpton seems good year-round, though the busiest period is from mid-December to April. My latest cancellation date is a month before my stay so leaving it until a week out wouldn't be an option - check this carefully! I'd be quite interested to know what IHG would say about the cancellation policy given it's so different from award stays at other properties.
