This does not complicate matters very much as most restaurants in Israel are kosher, but it does mean that we will not be going to a seafood restaurant that offers creepy-crawly things from the sea.
I suppose this rules out bacon cheeseburgers and crab cakes for those who want them at the dinner.
On a more serious note, would the dinner be a meat-based or dairy-based meal? In either case, what entrées and other selections can typically be expected on the menu?
Finally, are there any good Kosher delicatessens in Israel that resemble the ones in New York?
