Just add your UA FFP#? Other reservation systems like Amadeus Altea also have automated bots that scan for duplicate reservations, but usually they notify of suspect cases and ask to contact reservations or so. They are not as aggressive to outright cancel segments.
My FF# is on the record. UA apparently can’t code/query any deeper than name and DOB.
I guess the first cancellation was advance notice of the second….
I’ll update status from Ketchikan. I’m pretty sure I’ll be in coach now to SFO. Better chances of remaining in F to HNL, but almost certainly in a center seat.
