If I book a UA flight directly on united.com and cancel the reservation, UA leaves credit in my MileagePlus account for future use. What happens if I cancel a UA reservation originally booked on Chase portal? Does UA put the air fare into my MileagePlus as travel credit, or do I have to work through Chase? Do I still get the 5 points from CSR? Sorry if this has been discussed before, and thanks in advance.
