Well, my last couple of AA business flights had excellent crews - probably some of the best in a long time. Friendly, pro-active and helpful unlike most BA crews where I (or you) feel like an inconvenience to them. That's not to say though that some AA crews haven't been any better.
Personally I'm not too fussed about whether xxx serves brand AAA of champagne, brand BBB of gin or whatever. Unless I'm flying say CX F, I might only have a sole beer on board and stick to water / soft drinks (maybe a few glasses in the lounges, but if I do, I really don't want to be drinking more in the air as I'm generally tipsy at that point).
Food wise, do like AA's cheese plates, fruit / cheese, charcuterie type plates more than most things BA do. May not be haute cuisine, but I find them to hit the spot.
As with the alcohol, if I've indulged in 2-3 lounges before a flight, I'm quite often not wanting a meal on board, and something light might be fine rather than eating for the sake of it.
Cabin wise, the (777-300ER) AA seats are fairly spacious, although seem "old" and rather exposed when you're trying to sleep - much like aisle seats in dorm class compared to the more enclosed window seats. (Storage wise, maybe not the 777-200s AA fly with the reversed seats / Ying Yang pattern).
The new CW suite has its plusses here, although I've not had a night flight with them yet.
Getting better at sleeping in both BA and AA seats (have dropped off for a good 4 hrs solid of my last two transcon flights in AA F after 1/2 reclining the seat - could be food and alcohol related though!)
