Just flew KUL-IST and can quite easily say with the exception of the soup and dessert it was the worst food I've had in business class on any airline. Don't get me wrong - I liked the service set up with various courses and choices but the quality was just crap.
  • The salad with the prawns looked looked it'd been sitting around for a week.
  • The prawns were edible but there was barely any flavour or sauce.
  • The salmon was cooked to within an inch of its life twice over. It was so hard and chewy you could use it as a projectile. No sauce provided as per the menu. The vegetables were tasteless.
  • The cheese just seemed like the cheapest mass catered plastic stuff they could find - no crackers?
I didn't bother waking up for breakfast and my seat mate said I made the right decision.

Is this TK standard or just bad outstation catering? It was my first J flight on TK and I had higher expectations.
