I couldn't find a lot of discussion about suitcase covers. Does anyone here swear by them or is this an expensive add-on that is not necessary? (Specific comments about Briggs and Riley appreciated.)
never used a suitcase cover. Part of the benefit of buying “good” luggage is that the ballistic nylon is quite strong. Any luggage will get a few marks and scuffs with use, it’s inevitable. However usually after each trip, I’ll take a cloth and some soap and water and wipe it down. Seriously helps in keeping your luggage looking as good as possible.
