Does anyone have any recent experience with lounge access here without the invite ?
We’re travelling hand baggage only tomorrow on BA2645 at 19:15 and have access as Silver card holders.
Trying to work out wether to stay by the pool later and skip the lounge as we don’t fancy queuing for check in just to get a lounge invite.

In the Spring, I got in without an invite (as I'd used the automated check-in machines). When they asked for the invite I just said the automatic check-in machine did not give me one, and they shrugged and let me in.
