Not sure what you're referring to, as there's no special transit security checkpoint at SFO. The closest checkpoint to the "Connecting Flights" exit is F3, which is now open only very limited hours and currently lacks Pre (but did offer it pre-covid). If you keep going, you'll hit F1 checkpoint, which has Pre. You could also backtrack to International G security, there's Pre there as well.

This does sound like IAH though, where there's a specific transit security checkpoint, which lacks Pre. IAD similar with the midfield checkpoint.
