Unfortunately, the sad reality is probably “nothing” and you’ll have to accept it a “loss” towards your BAEC account.
You can by all means try but I suspect this is what’ll happen:
1. You call BA - BA say sorry call MH
2. You call MH - Very likely they’ll say no or call BA
And the circle continues. If you’re lucky you may receive some goodwill Avios from BA but that’s about it, if at all.
