We'll be going to HKG in July and would like advise from those who have stayed at this hotel. Is it better to make a reservation online (I am a Gold Ambassador) or using Amex Platinum Travel service?

The rate that Amex quoted is slightly higher, but I understand there is a possible ugrade (how possible is it?) Also Amex does not offer the deluxe harbour view, only superior harbour view. Does anyone know the difference? The website does not seem to have any info.
