No, I can confirm that I got cash reimbursement at 1.5c/point for a non-refundable hotel booking I made using UR points last year and then had to cancel when I tested positive for COVID. No questions asked - just needed a copy of the original booking (showing points used), the cancellation confirmation (showing no points refunded) and a copy of my positive COVID test.
