I’m fairly sure though if you spoke directly to the GM that they may have provided that benefit, especially going over the T&C line by line. Other managers get power sticks where the sun doesn’t shine. But the GM is tasked with following the T&C to the letter, otherwise it looks poorly on the owner.
Sorry you had to go through that many reps to get one with some common sense, but glad it was resolved while you’re still on property to enjoy the benefit. If you stay there again I’m guessing you won’t get any trouble utilizing that benefit.
thanks - definitely learned a lot and appreciate your help. This property is a recent Hilton conversion. I’m guessing that due to a combination of low occupancy and less globalists than typical due to the location that this hotel hasn’t had many or any challenges to this policy. Hopefully now there won’t be more issues in the future.
