It wouldn’t be fair to say that I “dislike” Bora Bora, but have always found it massively over-rated and actually pretty spoilt. It’s one of my least favourite parts of French Polynesia.

If you imagine Bora Bora to be like Phuket, Koh Tao could be said to be like Tupai (exaggeration obviously, maybe more of a Rangiroa nowadays).
