Sorry to re-raise an old thread. Parents in almost-law are flying MAN-DXB-HKT and the DXB-HKT has just been re-timed (pushed back by 11 hours) leaving them with a 14hr layover in DXB which they'd rather avoid.
Are EK reasonable when it comes to this kind of thing, to let them shift to another option and avoid the long layover? There looks to be plenty of availability in all classes (they're in economy, I don't know their fare bucket but it's "Saver") on all the flights.
I'm trying to give them advice on what to do/say but wanted to check what EK's likely response would be before getting them to do that. Thanks in advance.
