I'm trying to figure out if the info on wheretocredit.com is correct.
For example one of my flights is operated by Swiss but the site does not list Aeroplan as a mileage earning partner. That seems wrong since Air Canada is part of *A

If you credit it elsewhere, it will be calculated based on distance + fare class bonus. The total trip distance is roughly 12000 miles. So a 1.5 or 2x multiplier gets you 18k or 24k miles. So you need to know your trip cost to see whether UA or a different partner is better.

With that said, Mile redemption rates are not created equal. What AC or TAP will give you for 20k miles is different. So it’s not enough to only know who gives you the most miles but who gives you the best value for the type of redemption you’re looking for.

As a general thought, if you buy business class fares UA will be a good program because you earn what you spend. They also make mile redemption easy with online tools.
The trip cost was (for 2 passengers) was ~ 320K Membership Rewards points and $643 in cash, approximately $2K per passenger. UA will only give me ~10K points for the entire itinerary.
