I tried OLCI like 10 times and got the same message I posted earlier, that covid docs need to be checked.

I had accepted that I would need to do some fast talking at the LHR desk but thought I would give it one last whirl before turning in.

Be still my beating heart, it worked! On a multi-sector, AY / AA 125 ticket! I really feel I’m scaling new heights here and hope this reassures others to try much later in the day when the airport control has supposedly freed things up (very non-technical description)

EDIT TO ADD: One glitch was that it was trying to get me to select the AY sectors for check in and I even got a warning saying I needed to do that, but as I was already checked in (painlessly…) with AY then I deselected those flights and it allowed me to complete check in and get the BP.
