The Anantara Rasananda is in pretty good condition. Food is a bit limited, but the beachfront villas are really worthwhile.

Koh Tao is my favourite island in the world and is almost unbelievably beautiful, but bear in mind that there’s nowhere truly luxurious to stay. I’d say the trade off is worth it, especially if you have a Sairee beach view.
