Great thread. Thank you all for sharing your experiences thus far. I registered just to add my own data points, in case it's helpful to any lurkers (like me):

- Found out about JGA just from googling. Got in with the 20k yen ERFS package, paid on 8/31, received ERFS next day (Japan time)
- Applied to eVisa 9/1; received "Notice of completion of reception" email same day
- Original ERFS had wrong birthday on one of three travelers. JGA fixed the error within 24hrs after emailing them. I also preemptively asked them for a middle name inclusive ERFS pre-emptively based on some of the posts in this thread, which was also provided within 24hrs.
- Have been stuck in the "Accepted" status since applying on 9/1. I'm not entirely sure when it flipped to "Accepted" though, but has been at least since 9/3 or 9/4 as that's when I've been checking every day since.
- Today is business day #4, not counting the application day itself (applied toward the end of the business day).
- SF Consulate
- Trip is schedule for 10/10; 2 week trip.
- ERFS submitted was with no middle name (only first and last names).
- I have two other members in my party who also submitted on eVisa on 9/2 -- one with Seattle consulate, other with LA.
